VAGINAL MICROBIOCENOSIS IN WOMEN WITH CERVICAL DYSPLASIA WITH HPV-POSITIVE AND HPV-NEGATIVE STATUS

Abstract

The relationship between cervical dysplasia (CIN1) and vaginal microbiocenosis, as well as the associations between dysbiotic conditions and HPV persistence, is of significant importance in modern gynecology. In this study, qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the vaginal microflora were analyzed in 120 patients diagnosed with CIN1, divided into HPV-positive and HPV-negative groups. The assessment of the urogenital biocenosis was performed using the Femoflor test, triple-site vaginal smears, and bacteriological culture.

The probiotic drug “Bioterol” was administered to 60 patients, and the results were evaluated after 1 month. After the use of Bioterol, 86.7% of patients demonstrated a 3–7-fold reduction in pathogenic flora, a 3–5-fold decrease in inflammatory markers, and a tendency toward normalization of urogenital biocenosis (p<0.001). In the partially effective group (13.3%), a moderate reduction in pathogenic flora was observed; however, the persistence of Candida spp. indicated the need for additional treatment.

According to the study results, dysbiosis of the vaginal microflora in the presence of CIN1 and HPV persistence acts as a factor contributing to the continuation of dysplasia. It was established that Bioterol is an effective agent for stabilizing vaginal biocenosis.
