SEMANTIC CLASSIFICATION OF ANTHROPONYMIC PROVERBIAL PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS IN THE UZBEK LANGUAGE

Abstract

This thesis analyzes the semantic features of anthroponymic proverbial phraseological units in the Uzbek language, namely proverbs, sayings, and phraseological units that contain personal names. Anthroponyms appear as important linguocultural units that express folk thinking, national worldview, historical memory, and cultural values. The thesis classifies such units semantically into groups expressing positive evaluation, negative evaluation, irony, generalization, religious and mythological images, and socio-domestic relations.
