HYDROTHERMAL SYNTHESIS OF LTA-TYPE ZEOLITE FROM ANGREN KAOLIN AND ITS BET ADSORPTION ANALYSIS
Keywords:
kaolin, porous materials, zeolite, hydrothermal method, adsorption.Abstract
In this study, Angren kaolin was used as the raw material for the synthesis of KA zeolite. BET and DFT model analyses were performed to evaluate its textural properties. The BET surface area was determined to be 8.475 m²/g, while the DFT surface area was 19.575 m²/g. The maximum adsorption capacity reached 149.00 cc/g, and the average pore diameter was 3.24 Å.
