Abstract

In 2023, following a nationwide referendum held on April 30, the new edition of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan was adopted. The revision officially took effect on May 1, 2023. This constitutional reform included significant updates — among them, a strengthened legal framework for human rights and social guarantees.
