Abstract

kidney failure is a frequent complication of patients with liver cirrhosis, occurs in one in 5 patients, and kidney dysfunction is detected in 20-50% of hospitalized patients. It is one of the most serious complications of decompensated cirrhosis, leading to death or liver transplantation.
