OFFENSE AND LEGAL LIABILITY

Abstract

This scientific article provides a comprehensive analysis of the concept of an offense, its main characteristics, types, and negative consequences for society. The article extensively covers the concepts of offense, legal liability, legal norm, legal relationship, and guilt, as well as the principles of liability. The types of criminal, administrative, and civil legal liability are analyzed on a scientific basis. Furthermore, the essence of legal liability, its close connection with offenses, and its role in ensuring legal order are examined on a scientific basis. The article explains the subject, object, and objective and subjective aspects of an offense through examples, and analyzes the types of legal liability — criminal, administrative, civil, and disciplinary liability.

In addition, special attention is paid to preventing offenses, raising legal culture, and strengthening the rule of law in society. The interrelationship between offenses and legal liability is revealed, and practical proposals and recommendations are put forward. The concept of legal liability, scientific views on its legal nature, and its close connection with offenses are examined. The main principles of legal liability — legality, fairness, liability for guilt, individualization, and inevitability — are analyzed on a scientific basis. At the same time, the types of legal liability, the mechanisms for their application, and their practical significance are examined in the context of the judicial and legal reforms being implemented in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
