Abstract

This thesis examines the epidemiology, clinical manifestations, and diagnostic methodologies for cutaneous mycoses, emphasizing the distinction between superficial and deep fungal infections. The work analyzes contemporary laboratory techniques including microscopy, culture, and molecular methods. Findings demonstrate that integration of clinical assessment with appropriate laboratory confirmation ensures accurate diagnosis and guides targeted antifungal therapy selection.
