This thesis investigates the fundamental role of epidermal barrier impairment in atopic dermatitis pathogenesis, integrating genetic, immunological, and environmental factors. The study analyzes filaggrin deficiency, lipid abnormalities, and their contribution to disease chronicity. Results establish that barrier restoration through targeted emollient therapy combined with anti-inflammatory treatment provides optimal disease control and reduces exacerbation frequency.
