Abstract

This thesis elucidates the immunological mechanisms underlying allergic contact dermatitis and examines evidence-based prevention strategies. The work analyzes hapten recognition, T cell activation, and memory cell formation in contact sensitization. Findings emphasize that identification of relevant allergens through patch testing combined with avoidance counseling and protective measures effectively prevents recurrent dermatitis episodes and improves patient outcomes.
