This thesis examines the autoimmune mechanisms underlying melanocyte destruction in vitiligo, integrating genetic susceptibility, oxidative stress, and immune dysregulation. The work analyzes the role of cytotoxic T lymphocytes, autoantibodies, and innate immunity in disease pathogenesis. Results demonstrate that vitiligo represents a complex autoimmune disorder requiring multimodal therapeutic approaches targeting both immune activation and melanocyte protection for optimal repigmentation.
