This thesis examines the immunopathological mechanisms underlying psoriasis with emphasis on cytokine dysregulation and contemporary treatment modalities. The work analyzes the cascade of proinflammatory mediators driving keratinocyte hyperproliferation and explores targeted biological therapies. Findings demonstrate that selective cytokine inhibition represents a paradigm shift in disease management, offering superior efficacy compared to conventional systemic approaches.
