Abstract

Residential areas are considered the most common territorial model for the location of public catering establishments. This approach is usually aimed at meeting the daily needs of the population and is formed in harmony with the even distribution of facilities within walking distance, the presence of public transport stops and the directions of pedestrian flows. The main advantage of this location concept is that in residential areas, sufficient land areas are often preserved, which allows for the design of enterprises such as restaurants, canteens and specialized cafes on a full technological cycle. At the same time, such areas also provide ample opportunities for the formation of multifunctional service complexes.
