Abstract

This article examines the psycholinguistic foundations of the relationship between language and thought. Particular attention is paid to the role of language in the formation, expression, and development of human cognitive processes. The study analyzes major psycholinguistic theories concerning the interaction between linguistic structures and mental activity, including the views of L. S.Vygotsky, A. R.Luria, and other scholars. The article also discusses the influence of language on perception, memory, conceptualization, and communication. The findings demonstrate that language and thought are closely interconnected phenomena that mutually influence one another in the process of cognition and communication.
