Population aging has become one of the most important demographic trends affecting socio-economic development worldwide. The increasing share of elderly people in the population creates additional demand for social services, healthcare, long-term care, and social protection systems. This study examines the economic aspects of improving the effectiveness of social services provided to the elderly population. The research analyzes the relationship between service accessibility, quality, financial sustainability, and social outcomes. Particular attention is given to innovative financing mechanisms, digitalization of social services, public-private partnerships, and community-based care models. The findings indicate that the integration of modern technologies, efficient resource allocation, and targeted social support programs significantly enhances the effectiveness of social services while reducing fiscal burdens. The study proposes a comprehensive framework for improving elderly care services in developing and transition economies.
