Abstract

The article studies the influence of environmental factors on the growth, development and biological indicators of the medicinal small-flowered mountain basil (Origanum tyttanthum Gontsch.) plant in the conditions of the Samarkand region (2021–2023). During the research, the influence of air temperature, relative humidity and precipitation on the vegetation and flowering phases was statistically analyzed. It was found that during the vegetation period, the temperature was $1.0 higher than the multi-year norm, activated metabolism and photorespiration ($p < 0.05$). Low air humidity and a sharp decrease in precipitation in the summer months caused water stress, increased transpiration and reduced leaf turgor. It was found that autumn drought caused early seed ripening and reduced vegetation.
