Abstract

This article examines the formation and systemic nature of lexical-semantic groups in the vocabulary of the Uzbek language. The common and specific semantic features of lexical units and their paradigmatic relations are analyzed on the basis of co-hyponymic words, phytonyms, and zoonyms. Particular attention is also given to the role of hyponymic-hyperonymic and genus-species relations in the structural organization of lexical-semantic groups.
