Mazkur tezis xalqaro munosabatlar doirasida mintaqaviy xavfsizlik muammosini tahlil qilishda yuzaga keladigan asosiy metodologik masalalarni nazariy jihatdan yoritishga qaratilgan. Tadqiqotda “mintaqa” va “xavfsizlik” tushunchalarining turli nazariy talqinlari hamda ularning tadqiqot dizayniga ta’siri tahlil qilinadi. Shuningdek, global, mintaqaviy va milliy darajalar o‘rtasidagi o‘zaro bog‘liqlikni noto‘g‘ri ajratish metodologik cheklovlarga olib kelishi ko‘rsatib beriladi. Xavfsizlik tushunchasining kengayib borishi uni baholash va o‘lchash jarayonini murakkablashtirayotgani alohida ta’kidlanadi. Tadqiqot natijalari mintaqaviy xavfsizlikni o‘rganishda metodologik pluralizmni qo‘llash ilmiy jihatdan asosli ekanligini ko‘rsatadi.
This thesis aims to provide a theoretical examination of the key methodological issues that arise in the analysis of regional security within the field of international relations. The study analyzes different theoretical interpretations of the concepts of “region” and “security” and examines their impact on research design. It also demonstrates how the improper differentiation between global, regional, and national levels of analysis can lead to methodological limitations. Particular attention is paid to the expanding scope of the security concept, which increasingly complicates processes of assessment and measurement. The findings indicate that adopting methodological pluralism is a theoretically justified approach to the study of regional security.
